Can’t read it but I imagine it’s about how cheap and easy it is to get prescription glasses and contacts. Every year we visit and I get at least 3 pairs each time. Haven’t had an eye exam in the U.S. for like 10 years.

Is this new? I’ve gotten my eyes checked and a new pair of glasses every time I visit Korea.

    3. This summer I got 3 sets of progressive lenses changed in frames I already owned and 2 pairs of non-prescription sunglasses (for my wife and sister in law) for 1 million won. At home, it is nearly the same cost for 1 set of progressive lenses.

I am smitten with the quality and cost.

This is such a weird thing to put the K- on, but I have to agree with all the other commenters here that shopping for glasses in Korea is extremely easy and low-cost.
