Don’t get your hopes up. Anything of REAL interest will be redacted. I would bet my life on it. So when you’re thinking how come all of sudden they have decided to vote yes on it, it’s because it will make them look innocent knowing they have been redacted.

this is stupid, the „files“ will point a lot of arrows in multiple directions, but it won’t be spelled out in any clear way. there is an active investigation going on that is combing through all this information, and if you don’t trust them i get it, but a drop of all this info on everyone will only lead to millions of people thinking Trump gave Bill Clinton a blow job because of an offhand quip between brothers.
his vote is basically a protest, he knows that it isn’t pivotal, and it’s actually more a statement he isn’t involved than anything.
you think someone involved would be the only no vote? that he’s so involved and desperate to please his masters that he would vote „no“ no matter what, even if every other congressman voted „yes“?

because it does not include private limitation for ongoing cases/investigations…which is a very big slippery slope of legislative precedent, akin to the Patriot Act!
legal cases are kept private and their public releases are constrained by legal permissibility
that will directly contradict juris prudence…and the judicial won’t be happy
the Senate better modify to account for this privacy, otherwise once it is signed into law…lawsuits are going to put injunctions on DOJ and any other agency releasing anything

While I can’t say he’s innocent, I can say I never heard of him until I looked to see who the no vote was, and the reason he gave is plausible.
