Australia and Israel uses distillation plants for the majority of their water. Why hasn’t Iran done so? The Caspian Sea is close to Tehran and has very low Salinity.
They could make peace and recognize Iseael, who are experts on desalination. But a gov’t that chained children together in lines and forced them to walk over minefields in the Iran-Iraq War to explode mines is not going to make peace with anyone. They’re on the verge of a tragedy.

Could this be the first regime change spurred by climate change? Cloud seeding isn’t a magic bullet, and provides nowhere near enough of the water that Tehran needs. People can only go so far being told to drink less, evacuate and pray for water.
It’s gonna flood. Just like in Dubai and just like in California a few years back when it was desperate for rain.
And then they will say “yes we could seeded but it doesn’t even work very well, it’s just a coincidence that we had record floods that caused billions in damage, therefore you can’t sue us for the damage we did”
