After my father died I found out he had 3 other sons he abandoned and never contacted again as he went on to marry my mother and have my sister than me. He use to beat the shit out of me and call me a mistake and a disappointment.
The other sons apparently hate him and didn’t attend the funeral. I asked my uncle, 2nd time seeing him in my life, (I was 38) about them. I really wanted to ask which kids he thought had it better. The abandoned kids or the beaten one.
All this to say anyone who abandons a kid of theirs is a piece of shit not matter what.

This is pretty par for the course in right wing families. My BIL, had 2 different marriages and a panoply of kids. He adopted his wife’s kids in the first marriage, and as soon as divorce papers were finalized never spoke to them again, and hasn’t for 30 years, to the extent that when one died from a homicide he refused to go to the funeral. A „family values “ man on Facebook. He makes me fucking sick.
My time to shine. I once saw Kelsey Grammer in the Century City Eatly. He was being treated like a peice of jungle gym equipment by two young children who I thought were his GRANDchildren, they were not. I can also confirm that he must have been off the wagon at this point because he looked haggard and was holding 4 bottles of the exact same wine. It didn’t feel like he was about to host a dinner party, just some make it through the day juice of you will.
