Good for the French. They have always been there to stand up for the downtrodden.
People are complaining about this as a deal to buy fighters in the future and low utility currently. I agree it isnt useful for the war right now, but there is a non-zero chance Ukriane HAS to stall the lines where they are and Russia gets 4-5 years to resupply and try again (I really really hope this does not happen and will be ashamed of the West if we get there, but it is Ukrianian lives being lost so they get to decide). Having a bunch of modern fighters will be indispensable for warding off the next attempt at invasion.
