I’ve heard some absolutely vicious vitriol come from the terraces towards male players and referees over the years, one female ref gets a bit of mild and light hearted ribbing and it’s suddenly worth a fine. No wonder there are some blokes that think all their spaces are being taken away and natural behaviours attacked.
What a joke. Why don’t you demand everyone sits down and watches in silence. Taking the piss out of the ref is normal.
Does this mean that chants of “Who’s the bastard in the black?” are only permissible if a birth certificate cannot be produced?

And I’m sure plenty of comments will say it’s not a big issue or that if it happens the other way no one cares.
A female rugby player just got absolutely shafted for asking which of the players the ref was shagging. It’s absolutely fair and should be stamped out of sports.
