Unfortunately this is Ireland. This is Dublin.

Why is Dublin a kip? It’s not politicians – it’s because we’re a grubby people with no self respect. That’s why the streets are filthy, ugly and run down. Why George’s dock remains an empty rainwater and rubbish filled pit for years now.

That’s why two filthy corroding industrial smoke stacks
Are regarded as “iconic” rather than the industrial waste they actually are. We don’t get the Statue of Liberty. We don’t get the Eiffel Tower. Or the Washington monument. A colliseum. A brandenburg gate.

We get industrial land fill and Dublin troglodytes thinks it’s iconic.

You all just accept it. You accept less. No ambition. Vision. Or self respect.

And that’s why these people set fire to playgrounds. There’s piss on every street. Chewing gum all over the grotesquely ugly occonnell bridge. It’s why occonnell street is filthy and abbey street grotesque.

It’s the people.

I remember when I was a kid in rural Cork. I was maybe 9 or 10, my class did a whole thing about recycling and composting, and we got a big compost bin for the whole school. Two days later it was absolutely fucking destroyed.

One of my nastier bullies bragged about doing it, that he was going to do it earlier but there was a parent-teacher thing that kept him away, but he went in again the next night with a hammer and a hatchet and just fucking smashed it up. I asked him why and he just looked at me. He really didn’t know why he went and trashed this thing in the school, it was just*there* and he did it.

I think about that a lot lately.

In Charlestown they burnt the baby section of the playground and usually they would have “bonfires” every other night.a rake of the local residents got together and walked the area during danger times,stopping the scumbags from doing anything.it worked.zero bonfires for about a month and all it took was a few residents to have the balls to do something about it.a few curtain twitchers had more power and achieved more then the police who did nothing despite countless phone calls

Were there plans to house asylum seekers in the playground or something?

Fucking losers, whoever done that.
