Experten warnen: Budget 2025 kürzt Kanada-Studentenstipendien

As a post secondary student wanting to pursue a masters degree, this is making me fume, as it’s insane double speak used by the LPC. On one hand, they brag in the fucking budget document as to how Canadians are so well educated, and now they want to make it costlier to get into post secondary education. Fucking dystopic.

Wanting to cut student aid, from people that are disproportionately low and middle income, is nothing more than ideological, social Darwinist, „pull yourself up by the bootstraps“ bullshit that has been time and time proven to be a scam. It destroys our productive capacity, and makes our populace less educated.

Putting people into bigger debt won’t fix shit either. We need to massively expand our spending in education, especially post secondary, so that unis are less dependent on international students subsidizing us, and better address the cost of living thing, instead of defunding, which is something liberals and conservatives seem to be more interested in.
