I am a bit disappointed by her position. She got the government’s word that it would engage itself to reach the Paris targets, but it is just a word. Is there anything in the budget to support this word?

I’ll say what I did elsewhere:
I am wondering what may have been gained for this vote. I really really really hope we see something inspiring.
I know it is a bit too optimistic but the east to west electrical grid based on renewable energy and union labour is one of the most exciting big proposals out of the progressive camp.

My guess – Jeneroux abstains, 6 NDP votes against, Idlout votes for. Passes without needing the speaker. Nunavut has the most non-partisan politics in the country, she’s the easiest person to vote for the the budget and not blow back on the NDP as a whole.
