Love me some Chinle Formation! Second-best paleosol deposit in the US, beat only by the glorious Morrison. Colors are cooler in the Chinle though. You can find this same deposit in SE Utah, namely near Capitol Reef and the San Rafael Swell, which speaks to how massive this sedimentary deposit is.
