I’m sold. Doesn’t seem like there is much life left in the NDP these days, but offer people a genuine alternative to encroaching Americanism that isn’t just an excuse to spend more money on U.S. defence companies and a lot of people will be interested.
Enshittification has a really specific meaning/flow that relates to tech products. It doesn’t really work here. If you want to say the government isn’t serving us well, do so.
Trying to shoehorn in „enshittification“ is very „Pokemon Go to the polls“ to me.
Propose something genuinely revolutionary and set up a sizeable, empowered anti-trust task force to break up Canada’s sclerotic monopolies.
The NDP is the only one of the three parties who are even kind of capable of doing this, and if you wanted to help working people it would be the best place to start.

For too long, the enshittification of our lives has been allowed to run rampant. But public interests, towards a less shitty Canada, should and could be promoted again, if we get the right kind of voices at the helm of the NDP — and who knows, maybe other parties could get on board with a „Make Canada Less Shitty Again“ slogan!
