Is that the one we share with the French? Ate we counting 2 aircraft carriers?

This I find very interesting and I anticipate a loud reaction from the anti-NATO camp:

      >This exercise in the Mediterranean will test NATO’s ability to strike targets at sea and includes carrier-based air missions and amphibious landings. It will also see anti-submarine drills, where personnel will practice for scenarios like ensuring freedom of navigation and securing maritime chokepoints.

    3. Has anyone else noticed that every large military seems to be ramping up a bit? I wonder if it has anything to do with the largest war in Europe since WW2 with Rissia and North Korea teaming up.

Oh dear. Can we please leave the use of the word “warfighting” to the Yanks?

Fun fact, in many ways the biggets drag on the UK military is the nuclear arsenal eating up lots of the budget

I remember when news was announced of a brand new carrier (queen Elizabeth I think) that was to be shared by British and French navy, each assigned a determined period of operation, because neither country had resources or finances to operate a carrier each.
