    1. Not necessarily a question to you OP, but I’m curious: How much is interstate-migration seen as a problem in the more developed states, and are there states that surprisingly don’t get that many domestic migrants, despite being comparatively well off?

      I’m curious about J&K.
How is it so high, considering the frequent clashes.

Nitsh Kumar, the CM of Bihar has been the CM for almost past 20 years. Now he again won with resounding majority. Looks like he did a lot of work.

    4. 0.852 is unusually high given that in the last few years, Kerala has been around ~0.75. (Also its absurdly high for India in general, and Goa was consistently in first place before this). Can you make sure there wasnt a typo anywhere

Outdated Data (by a huge margin at that, if you estimate the HDI using the current state in 2025, the national average is around 0.7) and also in general looking at development indexes at a state-level is a bad idea because there is a huge rural and urban divide in certain states. This pulls down a lot of states in the northeast aswell as say gujarat, up and other larger states.
