My local college built an e-sports lounge, start of the art athletic center, football fields, renovations, etc.
Idk man, when I went there 10 years ago it was fine just having a school being a school.
It’s really hard to understand the full scope of the financial situation in the post secondary sector. But as a parent of kids who are about 6-7 years away from entering their PSE years, I’m basically assuming that the costs for tuition and everything else will be rising immensely and I’m trying to prepare myself from now.
Maybe the provincial government steps up funding or these institutions find ways to cut enough costs without impacting service levels, but I’m highly doubtful.
