MTG has come a long way, but still keeps shying away from the obvious explanation that Trump is one of the perps in the Epstein files.

While MTG did say those things, her tone was heavily towards support and forgiveness of Trump’s comments about her. She kept saying they were hurtful but she is ready to forgive. She made numerous arguments for his innocence with Epstein, despite mountains of evidence they were long term accomplices and shared a kinship around exploiting women and girls. MTG repeatedly emphasized how often she has and does support him.
Host Dana Bash even closed it out with obvious appeals and laying out a pathway to them reconciling. Thanks, CNN.

Wild to watch Marjorie Greene likely making the exact same mistake Liz Cheney did in thinking the Republican base has some actual ideological stance that isn’t just tribalism and loyalty to the cult leader.
Guess we’ll see if it pans out the same; they’re definitely still different beasts where Cheney didn’t appeal to the base at all on top of what she was doing, while Greene certainly does but is still trying to buck the king and open up a lane to the presidency herself.
