You know I really thought after October 7 things would change. Why wouldn’t you disarm the strip? Not just Hamas. The entire Gaza Strip should be totally disarmed and demilitarized. Nothing should move forward until that’s done.

Why does Hamas have to disarm?
It’ll be interesting to see how many self-proclaimed supporters of Palestine make noise about this.
It’s just a fact that Hamas is a violent authoritarian that murders political and personal rivals in broad daylight all the time when they’re not hiding from the IDF. It’s just a fact that Hamas steals billions of dollars‘ worth of aid to enrich its leaders, buy weapons, and build tunnels, etc. It’s just a fact that there haven’t been any meaningful elections in Gaza in nearly two decades.
It’s just a fact that no Palestinian will *ever* be free, and there can *never* be a successful Palestinian state, as long as armed terrorists are running the show.
Anybody who gives even a single flying shit about the Palestinian people should be *demanding* that Hamas be entirely disarmed and dismantled, and free and fair elections held to replace that corrupt regime. To do otherwise is proof that you were never actually pro-Palestine in the first place… just looking for an excuse to hate on a different minority group.

The very countries that don’t want to invest due to the risk of it all being destroyed are the same ones unwilling to disarm Hamas. So of course they’re worthless.
Make Hamas disarm or no building materials. Or make those same countries fund the security forces willing to do what needs doing to protect their investments.
Who knew that Israel/Palestine would be so complicated?
Israel isn’t going to allow any situation where Hamas remains in power nor where they don’t disarm regardless of what America has to say.
