We should straighten out all the croissants in Ireland as a form of retaliation. That’d learn ‚em.

    2. Burn that place to the ground if they don’t replace the flag…they are French, they understand…..

    3. It shows the 2 sides – ‚Grown with love in Ireland‘ and the butchers apron above it

Unfortunately as an Irish person living in London when I tell people I’m Irish not British I often hear – ‘oh that’s the same thing’! 😳😞

Re the UK flag for an Irish product: France is quite bad for this. I visit there a lot, and to many of the French, the distinction between what constitutes the Republic of Ireland and the UK is sort of opaque to them. It’s hard to explain, but I seem to feel many of them seem to think RoI is a ‚region‘ (for want of a better word) in the UK or something like that.

It’s odd because I feel most would never lump together Germans with Austrians. So I’m not sure why the French struggle with this but they often are quite misguided about the Republic.

Shockingly, I’ve also had a guy maintain I wasn’t Irish because I don’t have red hair. He was not joking.

I’m petitioning my local O’Briens to relabel all their French wine to Belgian.

    8. What to know before eating shamrocks

Flavor: Shamrocks have a sour, citrusy taste from oxalic and citric acids, which can be used to balance rich dishes or as a garnish.
Toxicity: They are edible in small quantities, but large amounts can be toxic due to a high concentration of calcium oxalates.
Source is crucial: Only eat shamrocks that are certified organic or have been grown specifically for consumption. Ornamental plants from nurseries are often treated with systemic pesticides and fungicides that are toxic

    9. They’re flagged as British where I buy them in the US as well, but I’m just happy to be able to get them.
