I’ve noticed that for businesses that market themselves on supporting diversity, allowing employees to dress as they please really helps to reinforce that value in a tangible way. I have trans and queer friends who struggle to find work due to their visibly „alt“ appearances, but at these sorts of businesses that becomes a boon both for them, and their employers.
