Die verrückte konservative Cameo-App ist eine schamlose Geldrauberei; Für einen 15-minütigen Videoanruf mit rechten Persönlichkeiten wie Nick Fuentes werden den Nutzern 5.250 US-Dollar berechnet.

    1. Notice how you almost never see this on the left. And all the dumb merchandising is targeted at the right. Trump hats, flags, etc etc. And now we have the cult of Charlie starting to sell their brand. Says a lot about them.

In case readers are unfamiliar with Fuentes, „right wing personality“ is another way of saying „Nazi.“

He serves as a mainstream face to bring conservatives into Nazism, who praises Hitler, denies the Holocaust, and thinks Jews need to be eliminated, but will deny having said these things and deflect his actual beliefs when not talking to his core audience. Fuentes, along with other open Nazis, have been embraced by MAGA and the Trump administration, whereas he was previously banned from CPAC and other conservative conferences.

Other people listed include Laura Loomer, who attends Nazi conferences because she openly espouses bigotry and state violence towards brown, queer and Muslim people, but then complains when conservatives target her for being Jewish.

And Roger Stone, last seen telling militias on Jan 6th which Democratic Congressmembers they should assassinate in their planned attack, while working with the Trump campaign.

I would love to see detailed info on who is buying these quickie meetings. To my cynical eyes it is the D-list equivalent of pricey per plate dinners at Mar-a-Lardo.

    4. Imma be real. If someone wants to give me $5250, I bet I could roast Nick Fuentes so bad he’ll cry in 15 minutes.

Anyone trying to get a cameo with Nick and other people on that platform deserves to lose their money

So? This is capitalism. Everything is a money grab. If there is a need, there is a person willing to spend money to fulfill that need. If someone is ready to give money, somebody is ready to take it. Conservatives are so ready to spend money on Conservative merch, whether it’s gold sneakers, gold bibles or an hour with a right wing influencers.

What baffles me is how liberals are not taking advantage of this to take money that burns Republican fingers and use that money for good. There is money to be seized for people so blinded by hate they are ready to eat shit if it means we’ll have to smell their breath. How about we make them eat our own shit?

Over five thousand dollars and it doesn’t even come with a blowjob? Or does it…

    8. Right-wing personalities **like** blah-blah-blah

I’d bet $52.50 that it’s some „personality“ that no one, including the sucker, has never heard of. With minimal training, it could be a below-average AI answering the phone. That said, I don’t care if these dumbfucks throw their money away.

I’d pay 5 grands NOT to have a call with Ben Shapiro what the fuck lol

    10. In the age of AI that we are now in, what’s to stop someone from using AI to convince people they are talking to a celebrity, or an influencer? Are there fully AI streamers yet?

How much do I have to pay for 15 mins alone with Fuentes in a soundproof room full of power tools?

    12. It’s conservative?! News to me. I’ve seen people use it to get Patton Oswalt and Scott Thompson cameos before.

edit: oh, it’s not actually Cameo, it’s some other app.

    13. auntie_clokwise on

You couldn’t pay me $5,250 to have a conversation with that Nazi. And, if you somehow DID find find a dollar figure that would compensate me enough to do it, I’d spend the entire time screaming at him that he’s a Nazi and outlining all the various crimes the Nazis did and he wants to continue doing.

    14. Infamous_Mall1798 on

Optional btw if youre stupid enough to give 5k for 15 mins then I cant feel sorry for you.

So? The entire party is just a huge grift, and they’re grabbing all they can with both hands until the next major election.

    16. As the saying goes, *a fool and his money are soon parted*. So none of my business.

    17. AvailableReporter484 on

If you haven’t noticed yet; everything about the right is a grift. That’s, like, the entire point of aspiring to be a GOP politician. It’s not about helping people, it’s about the con.

    18. aussiederpyderp on

On some level you just have to respect the grift – the systematic brainwashing of literal 10s of millions of people who just end up wanting to throw their money at you.

    19. ASkepticalPotato on

The article and title is very disingenuous. It’s nothing like Cameo, it’s a mentoring service where you pay to get business advice from experts. There’s basketball players, music producers, and, yes, political people. That of course is going to cost more than Cameo does.

    20. Is there a grifting conservatives bubble right now or is there still a lot of growth prospects?
