I mean it’s 2025 it isn’t like the US doesn’t know where Maduro is at all times.

    2. To play devils advocate South America should be dealing with the problems it creates and it simply doesn’t. I don’t think what Trump is doing will solve it but the fact is most South American countries just let it all happen.

„Forever war“ yet all of my friends and family there are cheering the U.S. on and everyone is hoping we topple Maduro.

This would be much more like the invasion of Panama than Afghanistan and Maduro knows it. His fraudulent regime that murders protestors and is funded by narcos is done.

Lmao. Venezuela is a dictatorship. People need to get in line for hours to get a state-sanctioned chicken. Putting Maduro’s head on a pike is the dream of most Venezuelans. They only need the military command to be crushed, which the US could do in 1 hour.

I’m not a fan of the US doing this, but at the same time it’s the best option for Venezuela to free itself from their oppressors.

Trump declares war and says: „No election during war time!“.

      Welcome to a third term.

But honestly, not sure how the US constitution/laws handle this. On the other side, he doesn’t give a shit about it..

    6. Of course! This war will be short and Maduro will be out!
Maduro is thinking elsewise? Such imagination!

Trump has to have his little war, like all the other Republican Presidents.

    8. Difference is Afghanistan is a country full of caves, places to hide, and people committed to a holy jihad.

Venezuela ain’t that, and there’s a large chunk of people within it who’d love to see some regime change.

    9. Well it is in this side of the world with plenty of oil. And a large group against Maduro. But why Waste more time lives and cash.

With Trump being all over the Epstein files an invasion seems imminent.

    11. It’s crazy to me how we keep making the same mistake every generation or so. Vietnam, Afghanistan, now maybe round three.

Venezuela isn’t a military powerhouse, but it has the perfect terrain for guerrilla warfare, and you know what they say about the US vs guerrilla warfare.

    13. Every day the pedophile is still in office is a complete FAILURE of Americans.

    14. If Trump didn’t enjoy raping children, we wouldn’t be in this mess.

I still don’t understand how Dumpie-Shitz-His-Pants and his billionaire-fascist axis travelling murder clown show has so much support.

Venezuela was not on anybody’s radar in the United States, Republican or Democrat, until Trump tried to act like they are the sole reason we have drugs in the world.

The republicans who support Trump doing anything in regards to Venezuela is an idiot, and I don’t think it’s a coincidence Venezuela happens to be one of the worlds largest oil exporters also while being weak militarily compared to the United States. Also doesn’t help them Trump desperately needs a distraction from the oncoming Epstein onslaught he’s going to receive from more released emails.

China is the country most responsible for the fentanyl being produced, and it’s not a coincidence that they are strong militarily and economically and Trump essentially giving them a pass.

Remind me again why this is happening. Wtf did Venezuela do? I must have missed it.

The opposition leader was just awarded the Nobel prize and lives in hiding having been cheated of the election in a rigged result. Maduro is not and never has been the good guy.

The wars in Middle East only dragged on to a forever war because we followed rules of engagement as much as possible. Civilians still unfortunately sufferered due to the complexity of terrorists closely embedding themselves with civilian population. But there was at least the idea of trying to minimize civilian casualties as much as possible.

That wouldn’t be the case here. They have coined DoD as the Department of War. Administration and Sec Def specifically state they don’t gaf about rules of engagement. Look what ICE is able to do to the populace with tactics I never thought a 1st world country could ever legally get away with.

Think they are going to follow any sort of ethics and morals overseas? Think they give a fuck about diverse civilian population casaulties? The don’t even give a shit about our own US citizen diverse populations.

They are going to completely destroy the credibility of the Military’s professionalism and standards. Ironically being directed by some draft dodger.
