Er wies darauf hin, dass Vitaly Churkin, Russlands UN-Botschafter, „Trump nach unseren Gesprächen verstanden“ habe, und wies darauf hin, dass Jagland „Putin vorschlagen könnte, dass Lawrow Einblick in ein Gespräch mit mir bekommen könnte.“ [sic]“, wie Churkin es vor seinem Tod im Jahr 2017 „pflegte“, berichtet Politico.
„Lawrow“ scheint sich auf Sergej Lawrow zu beziehen, den erfahrenen russischen Außenminister.
Epstein sagte Jagland, einem ehemaligen norwegischen Premierminister, dass es „nicht komplex“ sei, Trump zu verstehen. Trump „muss gesehen werden, um etwas zu erreichen“, sagte er. Jagland antwortete, dass er Lawrows Assistenten am Montag treffen und die Nachricht weiterleiten werde.

What appears to be the case is that Jagland was trying to figure out how to deal with Trump and the US.
There are some other strabge commebts from Jagland, like saying he would settle on Epsteins island if Trump won the election.

It should not be pushed under a rug at least. Open an official investigation into Jagland and his connection to this and let the courts decide what can be proven or if there is a case.
No idea. Would assume just regular diplomatic communications. But we should probably put the chicken man on the case. He will get to the bottom of this, I can guarantee it.
Jagland was the general secretary of „The Council of Europe“ in 2018, and was dealing with trying to smooth out relations with Russia which were strained because Russia had been suspended from voting because of the 2014 invasion of Crimea and persecution of LBGT in Chechnya.
The mails that have been released regarding Jagland seem to be regular diplomatic correspondence regarding this situation.

He was never the sharpest knife. Just like he pushed through the peace prize on Obama, I’m sure Epstein was titillating in the same way about getting close to the big boys‘ club.
