People keep using the phrase “secret plan” I dont think they know the meaning of the phrase “secret plan”

I’m not surprised that he has a plan to rig even more elections. I’m not surprised that he blurted it out, either.

It would be amazing if the GOP suddenly grew a fucking conscience and removed this old dementia addled mother fucker so he could face prosecution for his crimes.

I support what they’re reporting on but this is disingenuous as an article and a title
I went in expecting him to actually admit to plans to rig the election, because that’s something this idiot actually would admit to
But it’s actually just covering more talk about voting restrictions, like mandatory 1 day, in person voting, etc etc
It’s nothing new, it’s nothing that outright screams „rigging“ the election – that would be fixing the voting machines to make sure the GOP win the midterms… It’s nothing like that
It’s just the usual scheming they do, to make sure that it’s incredibly painful for cities in red states to vote
We can do better than this kind of reporting

I worry more about a false-flag operation. They saw how the base reacted to Kirk’s death and they want more of that. Some juicy conservative is going to get whacked so they can blame „the radical Left“ and gin up MAGA votes right before the mid-terms. The question is who will they choose as the sacrificial lamb? Who is popular enough on the national stage…?

It was in the MAGA playbook all along. This is not new

But we all know anyway. So what’s the issue? Only thing that matters is whether the 90 million that didn’t bother voting actually care enough to vote next year.

Narcissists are actually very transparent. They get their way by coercion and wearing down opposition to their will.

I mean, I’d be blurting out a lot of gibberish too if the world just found out that Putin has a picture of me blowing Bill Clinton.

The ‚Secret Plan‘ is all laid out in Project 2025.

Saved you a read, the secret plan is to:
End the filibuster in order to pass national legislation, ending vote by mail completely, ending early voting completely, and, “cleaning up our elections.”. (that last part is never really explained).. and also that „you should only be able to vote at the polls during one day of the year“
justbecauseyoumademe on
At this point i am convinced he can write the entire plan down and publish it on Shitter and his truth shit and there will be no consequences
Like shit Project 2025 was published for all to see and America still went „yup. Thats our guy“
Or alternatively people will just say he is „trolling“ while they lose more civil liberties day by day
Good luck America (signed a European)

Comparing this to my own country (Norway).
We do have voterID, but people on low income can get that for free.
It’s partially because we don’t have voter registration. When you turn 18 you can automatically vote. No registration needed. The government already know who’s viable to vote and not.
The only people we excempt from voting are non-citizens, and people who’s commited actual voter fraud. Criminals can vote from prison even.
We also have a lot of social welfare that enable people to live a more normal life regardless of their situations.
We also don’t have single day vote. 1-2 months ahead of election day our government places out manned pop-up booths around mayor population areas. So instead of having to wait in a massive live on a single day, we usually only spend 5-15 minutes on voting. The booths never have a big queue, because people can vote when it fits them and their own schedule.
Is the system expensive? You bet. But it ensures people’s right to vote is maintained. A right to vote means the government MUST make it possible for everyone. Not cherry pick what voters they want to vote.
We also got the options for people to request voting personel to visit them at home to handle voting. This is for the elderly, or people with long-term illness/injury. They don’t need any documentation, just that it get requests ahead of time.
Our least serious and most funny one is for citizens living abroad. They can request official documents/envelopes, but it’s not required. You can literally use your own paper and 3 regular envelopes.
The only requirement is that you follow a certain system about what you write, and what is written on each envelope.
This is a system that trust its voters, and a system that’s built around „voter rights“.
Not a system that tries to manipulate who gets to vote and not.
Trump is a dictator.

Man that line, “and put everybody back to work” is an indication of why Election Day is not a holiday or why we don’t get paid days off for it.
The politicians just don’t want you to vote, especially the hardest working, poorest people who can’t afford to miss a day in their job. They just don’t want you to vote.
Election Day should be a holiday, and everyone should be able to get a paid day off for voting. Just like how being a jury member is a civic duty, so I voting, and it’s much more important.
If Republicans really cared about “fraud” in elections then they should want to give more people the opportunity to go in person to vote.
