We have a pretty stark anti-Savile bias too. Just happens that the BBC, like the rest of the UK, doesn’t really go in for glorifying paedophiles.

Oh, sorry, actually… apologies to republicans… I mean *ephebophiles*. Just as noncey, just as illegal and sickening, but with bigger children.

It’s an entertainment show. No-one should give a single solitary damn if it’s biased. It’s there to make you laugh and isn’t claiming to paint an accurate model of reality for you to make decisions about how to shape our world.

On reflection, I’m also willing to concede that the Beeb are doing a much better job than gratuitously partisan rags like the Torygraph or the Gruanidad. The BBC shouldn’t have made up lies, but if we’re going to demand the press are truthful, accurate and unbiased perhaps we should start with the low hanging fruit.

    3. what even is anti-Trump bias? The guy is clearly a prick, spends all his time lying and pretending he’s the best thing in the world. Anyone who is sane and normal should have „anti-Trump“ bias because the guy is a massive bell-end and proves it every time he talks.

Imagine James Corden thinking people were just biased against him, rather than it being an issue with him acting like a complete asshole almost all of the time.

    4. Sorry but what the actual fuck. ‚Anti Trump bias‘? It’s called living in the real fucking world. The man is vile. Are we not allowed to correctly observe that a vile person is vile any more?

    5. When the American fellow did the UK one, I was expecting it to be a bit shite. It was the opposite of that. He was better than a fair number of the British people that they have do it.

Could never take these shows seriously after that Harry and Paul bit. HIGNFY feels like a 90s/2000s relic. Same old faces making the same old jokes, for an ageing audience. In twenty years Ian Hislop will be on the show as a head in a jar like on Futurama, making jokes about Liz Truss and the lettuce and Boris Johnson’s hair.
