as someone that was addicted to going to the us atleast once per year from EU, i find it unlikely i ever go there again

The US government hasn’t somehow reversed its new position of being an ass to Canada, so why should the boycott end?
Canada was our great ally, and not to put too fine a point on it, the current administration completely fucked that up, as if “Hurr durr, We don’t need allies!” Which is an incredibly asinine, isolationist, arrogant view that will greatly harm us over time.
Happens when someone you thought was your friend starts talking shit about you for no reason.

I’m a Canadian, had Nexus and traveled frequently to the US for both work and leisure. I’ve only been back twice since January and once was an essential work trip and the other was a necessary layover after my initial direct flight was cancelled from Mexico.
I don’t plan on going back anytime soon.

As a Canadian, I couldn’t turn down a cheap trip to Hawaii this winter, silver lining.
It’s simple. Yanks = no thanks! There are so many better countries to visit.
I work in the tourism//service industry in Orlando. Across the board this year has been a huge hit to a lot of us with resorts being much slower and having lower spending.
It’s a storm I can weather but I don’t see it getting better for a while.
Wife and I spent our honeymoon camping in NY and throughout New England states.
We’ll never go back, now.
