The threat of annexation made me cancel my family’s ski trip to ellicotville. Going to tremblant instead. It’s nice to know I’m not the only one.

We are not heading down there anytime soon.

A good time to travel within Canada instead. I’m from BC and went to Montreal recently, it was great!

I won’t even book flights that have a transfer in the states, I’ll pay extra just to avoid them, fuck them.

Sorry, it’s just that we aren’t into you anymore. We’ve moved on. We are seeing other countries now.

The US government hasn’t somehow reversed its new position of being an ass to Canada, so why should the boycott end?
Canada was our great ally, and not to put too fine a point on it, the current administration completely fucked that up, as if “Hurr durr, We don’t need allies!” Which is an incredibly asinine, isolationist, arrogant view that will greatly harm us over time.

Happens when someone you thought was your friend starts talking shit about you for no reason.

Why would we willingly fund an economy that treats us like an enemy?

Some of you guys are really overdramatic and act like this stuff will last longer than 3 more years… Or that it’s doing anything at all in a lot of cases.
Mind you too, I’m Canadian.

Parked between two Canadian cars in USA as we speak lol
You all are just cringe.

I’m a Canadian, had Nexus and traveled frequently to the US for both work and leisure. I’ve only been back twice since January and once was an essential work trip and the other was a necessary layover after my initial direct flight was cancelled from Mexico.
I don’t plan on going back anytime soon.

Good.
We’re letting our Nexus cards lapse. Won’t be needing them anymore.

It’s such a shame that its going to take at least a decade to repair this failed relationship between nations.

There’s so much Canada that Canadians haven’t seen!
Go to Newfoundland!
Tofino!
Dawson City!
Gaspé!
Do a tour of oversized prairie attractions, like the world’s largest pyrogi, or largest sausage, or a replica of the Enterprise.
There’s no real reason to travel abroad when we have so much here.

Fuck you, America! I don’t plan on ever going back really, unless you make me, which is unfortunately not implausible these days

Why would it? The disgraceful behaviour of the US administration shows no signs of slowing

Good!! As much as I love to see our northern neighbors, please keep your pressure up. If it hurts the billionaires true love, the almighty dollar, that makes the people stronger.
Also, if you truely want this to end, please also boycot those companies that support this disasterous regime and protest in your own cities.
We must all stand together.

As an American, I think I’m going to start vacationing strictly in Canada. I want in on this boycott.

Dude, piss off a Canadian and you’re dead to them forever.
Anyone from the northern Midwest could have told you that.
(Sorry Canadians, I would say we’ll do better but there’s no guarantee, so… do what you need to do.)

As a Canadian, I couldn’t turn down a cheap trip to Hawaii this winter, silver lining.

I work in the tourism//service industry in Orlando. Across the board this year has been a huge hit to a lot of us with resorts being much slower and having lower spending.
It’s a storm I can weather but I don’t see it getting better for a while.

Wife and I spent our honeymoon camping in NY and throughout New England states.
We’ll never go back, now.
