Yoon again Sarang Jaeil nutters in shambles.
Trump has been a living nightmare for South Korea. But he has also been a blessing in disguise. He took down the restrictions on South Korean long-range missiles in 2019 in his first term. That led to the spinoff effect of South Korean missiles being exported all around the world.. Now he has eliminated the nuclear fuel processing that South Korea badly needs. South Korea’s nuclear plants produce nuclear waste, and they are filling up the country’s waste storage rapidly. If SK can reprocess this waste into reprocessed fuel, there would be less waste and less money spent on importing nuclear fuel from the US.
Not to mention the spinoff effect for South Korea’s economy when it starts building nuclear-powered submarines and building US Navy ships in South Korea. Not just directly, but also indirectly, with technology being transferred to civilian industrial applications.
