No one mentioned it because no one had heard of or gave a squirt of piss about Biff Wellington.
Chris Benoit, most likely influenced by CTE and roid rage, murdered his innocent son and his innocent wife, and then killed himself.
It was a very hard to believe story based on the Chris Benoit I identified with as a fan.
I’ll never say I truly bought the roid rage incident, and it is the perfect foundation for a conspiracy conversation. I wish you luck op.
People who go and try and paint Benoit as innocent are the worst kind of wrestling fan. To do so with no evidence and tell people to “do some research bro” is even worse.

But I saw him every week on TV. His special move was to jump from the top rope and land head first. He did this like a thousand times over his career. His brain was destroyed.

There’s some really crazy s*** that I’ve read over the years about Vince McMahon that have since been scrubbed from the internet. The real story is so twisted and perverted it will probably never be told.
Wellington’s body was found on the same day Benoit murdered his family and killed himself, but he most likely had been dead for several days. His parents called the police cause they hadn’t heard from him for four days. He also retired from wrestling in 2000 and had multiple strokes, so I don’t know why he’d still be on the roids 7 years later.

I totally believe it. I dated a pro wrestler who was very close to Chris, & his brother & son were Chris’s best friends. When Bill Watts had to sell his Midsouth Wrestling here, most everyone went up to the WWE. I heard some crazy & concerning shit about Vince… May Chris RIP and Eddie & Chavo Guerrero Sr. as well… 💜
The fallout from Benoit and the link to steroids and CTE almost killed the pro wrestling business as a whole. Everyone already knew wrestlers were on steroids and didnt much care. The fallout from another steroid scandal alone would have had like 20 percent of the fallout the actual events had. Vince is a lot of things, but he’s not stupid, orchestrating a double murder/suicide and shining a worse light on his own company would be stupid.
I don’t think Vince would run the Raw memorial dedication show if they had knowledge. They would have went straight to the “he was a psycho” thing.
His wikipedia page says he was in the World Championship Wresteling, a competitor to WWF, from 1992 to 1993.
