Poor woman, a lifetime of sorrow.
And someone knows.
It’s heartbreaking that after so many years the family of Philip Cairns still don’t know what happened to him. His parents his mum and dad have both passed away without ever getting closure. The pain of a missing answer, a missing son, must have been endless for them.

So so sad. Always think about him when I drive up that way.
I was younger but grew up in the same area he always talked about, much have been so terrible for his parents and so scary for all the other parents in the area.
Awful that someone knows or knew the truth but she never got closure.
That’s so gutting to hear. It’s heartbreaking to see her going to her grave without any justice for her missing loved one.

Not quite the same but my cousin was drowned years ago. Her Parents were out of their minds with grief. Finding her body after a week was the greatest relief ever. They said they could start the grieving process.
So sorry Alice Cairns never got answers. May she have found Peace now.
This is incredibly sad to see. She never got to see justice for her boy. Hopefully she can rest easy now, reunited with him.

I knew a gard that worked on that case and it always bothered him that they couldn’t get answers.
