The right way to do something like this is to release the material in the order of least to most damning. What you want is for him to take the bait and deny something released early, so you can follow it up with the hard proof that he’s lying.
You can trust my judgement because I’m a stranger on the internet with no credentials whatsoever.
What we REALLY need to see are the unredacted excel spreadsheets prepared by the DOJ reviewers that identified every document/item that mentioned Trump. We know the spreadsheets exist (they’ve been confirmed by multiple media outlets). I’m sure there are hundreds, if not thousands, of documents/files listed on them.
*At some point everything is going to come out and be publicly available. Everything.* It may not happen this year, or even while Trump is president, but it will happen. Some DOJ reviewer(s) that still have souls are going to make copies of key documents and take them home. After a while they’ll show them to family members or friends, and eventually they’ll share copies (perhaps anonymously) with the media. This is absolutely going to happen, it’s just a question of when.
You can bet lots of House & Senate Republicans are doing a lot of soul searching about how long to keep supporting our criminal president.
Release the files or don’t release the files. Everyone’s mind is already made up about the situation. We all know he’s guilty, his followers refuse to believe it, the GOP refuses to believe it. It will not move the needle one bit. He will remain in power until the term is up or he croaks before. He might even remain in power after the term because he is slicing his way through the constitution with SCOTUS help. There is absolutely nothing he can do to make his people stop following him.

Why is some stuff released by the House Oversight Committee, but other stuff needs to be voted on by the House? Could they just not release the full documents without a vote? If they flip one or two Republicans, why does that matter if they can release documents on their own?
