Not an easy read

I just don’t buy that the sentence handed down is anywhere near strong enough. The guy repeatedly used Snapchat to groom, manipulate and sexually assault that’s organised, predatory behaviour. He followed a consistent pattern of abuse. If anyone acted like that we’d expect a long custodial term, yet here we’re left feeling the system shrugged its shoulders. Justice demands that someone who systematically violates another person in this way pays a far heavier price.

9 years should be for the media alone. This should have been a life sentence.
