The solution is straightforward: The CEO should be charged with criminal contempt, and if found guilty, serve mandatory prison time.

Wow a whole $500k? Musk spends more than that on election interference.

I have dumped so much tunnel drilling fluid directly into Elon Musk‘s dads manholes… maybe they should fine me next

That fine is soooo miniscule that they can continue doing this infraction again and again just for fun.

Half a million dollars is like a regular person being fined a nickel. He will not care at all. Keep digging Elon! No one will stop you.

I am too lazy to do the math, but relative to average individuals wealth i would guess that equates to less then a fine for littering.

Believe it or not, a new LV tunnel contract incoming! /s …… I hope

    8. By building a company that doesn’t give a shit about that. Musk just won himself a contract worth 20,000% of that. This fine is like dusting off a $100 bill, no measurable value lost, and you still have the $100.

Less than a a year has passed since musk GUTTED the EPA so he could not give a shit about polluting.

So many people in here acting like Musk ordered this personally, and it shows none of you have ever worked in any sort construction/infrastructure project. This is the result of a shitty project manager combined with a foreman who gives absolutely no fucks. There’s plenty to criticize Musk over, but this ain’t it.

This is a tax. Taxes are cost of doing business and can be weathered. Fines are punitive. There is nothing that is punitive about this.
