Alright so EBV is linked by studies to MS, Lupus and ME/CFS. I am excited for us to get the vaccine against EBV ( It is in progress)

I’m reading this wondering if there’s something similar happening with MS and EBV… The potential for developing a new treatment following this discovery is very exciting!

The title is a somewhat fanciful twist on what they found and surprise, surprise:
>Robinson (lead author) said he hopes to use this research to find better treatments for lupus. Recently, he and two study co-authors founded the startup EBVio Inc., aimed at finding ways to treat lupus by depleting B cells or targeting the infected B cells.

EBV and many other viruses (including HIV and covid) have a viral protease that cleaves a native human protein TDP-43 into two nonfunctional bits. These bits aggregate in neural tissue and are associated with neurological pathology
Have fun reading down that rabbit hole

My wife has EDS (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ehlers%E2%80%93Danlos_syndrome). Early on, they thought it was Lupus. They share a lot of the same symptoms. I wonder if there is potential for treatment for her condition as well here.
Lupus is a vitamin D deficiency until proven otherwise!
