Well, it’s finally happening, 7 weeks after Grijalva was originally elected. Let’s get House Republicans on the record on the Epstein files discharge petition vote. How many of them will vote to protect pedophiles?
She is being sworn in at 4pm today.
I will accept an early gifting season this year, if this is what it means.

I literally expect no change whatsoever. Trump could be all of those files with pictures and time stamps, and they’d still nominate him for the Nobel Peace Prize

Serious question but what exactly does releasing the files mean? To whom and what? What’s to force DOJ from giving it to Johnson and it’ll stay buried in his desk? What’s to force a complete and unredacted file release? What is stopping a release right now of all info that Congress has instead of this drip of random docs?
Edit- I wish the people down voting would take the time to answer instead.
And now we get to see who the GOP flipped, there’s zero chance they are letting those files loose. They’ve either flipped someone to vote against the release or they’ve redacted/edited the docs so heavily it won’t implicate a single person actually guilty of anything.

Seems to me the government shutdown was all of them figuring out how to get away with it. So they swear Grijalva in and some republicans switch their vote. Then they flood the country with “Epstein documents” without a smoking gun and everything carries on.
We do not have a real government.
