George Clooney sagt, dass KI-Schauspieler in Hollywood mit dem gleichen Problem konfrontiert sein werden wie wir: „Einen Star zu machen ist nicht so einfach“
> “The thing that really rattled Hollywood in general was the Sora 2 stuff. That shook everybody because suddenly the quality was much better and it’s scary,” he told me at the Los Angeles premiere of “Jay Kelly” on Tuesday night at the Egyptian Theater. “But you know, AI is gonna have the same problem that we have in Hollywood, which is making a star is not so easy. You can’t really describe what makes someone a star, and it’s not looks. It’s something unusual and it’s hard to detect. They’ll have the same problems that we have.”
> Clooney has seen unauthorized AI versions of himself online. “There’s been some really actually awful ones where they’ve done and said things that I’ve never done and said and put me out there and it’s dangerous,” he said. “It’s dangerous for your family. It’s dangerous. It’s complicated, but the genie is out of the bottle and I’m not quite sure what we’re gonna do.”

There is no such a thing as ‚AI Actors‘ because being an actor requires to be alive.

We humans have been forced to accept soulless 90% cgi films for years now. Making an actor Ai won’t be as big a leap as actors think.

A good point actually. A big part of what makes a star is how they come across in interviews and press stops. Being relatable, likeable and charming goes a long way and that is going to be impossible for AI.
At least as of now. AI talk show hosts, AI Hot Ones, AI everything is coming. An entire artificial ecosystem to make and peddle movies that can be run by a skeleton crew compared to what it takes now.

Outside of odd subcultures, and social media content, this will never be a thing.

AI wouldn’t make the decision (excuse the antropomorphized language) to start grossly fingering your inner ear mid-interview. Make of that what you will.

„Their“ problem is that they will be put in realistic Bukkake scenes where „they“ will be indistinguishable from the character in the movies.
George Clooney has a very stupid take on this.

I see your comment Mr Clooney and would point you to AI IG ‘influencers’ with 100k+ followers ….

Show me a movie with an ai actor in it and I’ll show you a movie I’m not going to see.

I don’t think even the studios that embrace AI will stick with it for long when they realize how difficult (maybe even near-impossible) it is to prompt what you exactly want.

The cost and stakes aren’t the same so they wont have the same problem.
