Clickbaitish title. NATO has specifically been investing in Ukraines own military production. Title makes it sound like NATO is weak due to this when the result is exactly as intended.

Should this be a surprise?
And even at 1/10 the cost, their functionality is far superior

Ukraine has helped and is continuing to help all the NATO countries prepare for the next war which will involve AI and drones and advanced technologies. Thanks to Ukraine and the war military leaders now see that old technologies are obsolete.

„Drones“ is a very broad term here.
The sophistication of NATO UAVs – for intelligence gathering and target acquisition – is a far cry from the cheaper makeshift drones used in tactical urban warfare to carry small loads (mortar shells / explosives or resupply for ammunition)… or even the larger glide drones used to attack enemy positions.
Ukraine have an immediate need for the latter, so have to ramped up production. They’re made and used immediately.
What would NATO do with stockpiles of these when the technology advances so rapidly?

This makes no distinction between predators and quadcopters, not that Ukraine isn’t making larger craft but this is a garbage headline
