As far as I can tell this is only about the upper half of 6Ghz, the lower half is pretty well established for wifi now. Many countries are currently holding the upper half in reserve until they work out what to do with it.

I’m transmitting a video feed at 2.4 GHZ on WIFI, and it’s working flawlessly, and WIFI doesn’t transmit over 50 ft anyway, so how is it a problem to share the frequency with cellular phones?

What use would telecoms have for 6ghz?
I understand the logic behind the usefulness of 26ghz and also 3500,2600 MHz but I don’t see a use case for 6ghz?
Like surely for hyper dense areas 26ghz is better and for everywhere else 3500-2600mhz.

I hope it’ll be declared a wi-fi band. Otherwise cellulars will sell it back to you.
