No medical research company wants to find the cure to anything, they want to find treatments to keep you sick and paying, forever. Our government is happy to help them with these ambitions with kickbacks, of course.

Eh, take this with a grain of salt. While I agree that American healthcare is all about “a doctor a day keeps the apple away”, I’ve long been suspicious of academicians making grandiose claims of preventing / curing cancer.

As I understand it, a cure for most forma of cancer was developed in the 1920s by iirc a German scientist who died from a weird accident shortly after.
It is said this cure is now held by the Rockefellers and has never been released to the public because the they would no longer be able to sell their chemo to us
