This implies Turks can get visas to visit Greece on a regular basis for basic grocery shopping. Lol..

No way I would spend hours at an unfriendly external EU border just to buy few slices of cheese.
(I am a Ukrainian and my sad record is about 6 hours to cross the border one way. I don’t remember whether it was Polish or Hungarian one. Both were crappy af.)

How can you escape inflation abroad when your currency is worthless?
There should be something about the cheese in Greece that’s similar to rain on the plain in Spain.
As expected, Greece betraying Greece by selling cheese to Turkey. First the Germans with the Eurofighters and now Greece also siding with the enemy.
Will Greece fight alongside Greece the day Turkey decides to use that cheese to invade the rest of Cyprus?
Danes do the same thing in Germany. And Norwegians in Sweden

Nothing surprising here. Most of the wages doubled in Euro last 2 years, while minimum wage remained more or less same. So at the moment, Turkish lower class live a survivor and middle class has a purchasing power between Germany – Denmark. Also people will get ~%30 raise in January.
You guys will see many Turkish tourists in Europe in 2026.
We Norwegians drive for hours to buy cheaper food in Sweden for the same reasons.
The prices on groceries have become horrendous here in the last few years.
