Unfortunate but unsurprising with how poor of a state Canada’s healthcare system is in, with attending to people’s healthcare needs in a timely manner.

Interesting the huge difference between Ontario and Quebec. Would be nice to read an analysis of the cause(s). Policy?Enforcement? Religious or social beliefs? Social pressure? Discounting or under counting? Etc.

This is only affecting the kids who don’t get the vaccine, right? Sorry if I’m stupid.

I see that much like imaginary windfarm noise syndrome, anti-vaxxing is an English-speaking disease

I knew about the anti-vaxxers in Alberta, but what is happening in Ontario?

Our country is full of idiots. It’s sad because we can’t even blame the US for this.

Thank you anti vaxxers for thoroughly humiliating and embarrassing the entire nation let alone putting thousands of babies who are too young to be vaccinated at risk.

Come on Alberta, you can do it. You can beat Ontario.

A per capita map would be more telling.

The maps should really show measles per capita. Ontario has just under 20% more cases than Alberta while having 3.2x the population.

Well, at least that’s something AB isn’t the worst at. Although I’m sure that per capita we’re higher than ON.

These idiots. Brit in my late 60s. Had all the childhood illnesses before vaccines. These were serious. Delirious for 3 days with measles. School in those days- a small but significant number of kids with measle related sight and hearing issues.
Parents did NOT have measles parties. People were used to it as impossible to stop but were always afraid of it- especially with very small children. A lot of suffering.
