There is a huge difference between „was under polish influence“ and „belonged to Poland“.
More than 50% of this map never belonged to Poland at any moment of history, but were strongly influenced by it

It’s funny how we universally disapprove Russian, Chinese or even Hungarian nationalism but for some reason Poles pretending that Ukraine, Belarus and Lithuania were ever „theirs“ is still socially acceptable to spread around.
