      The way to distract from big scandals is to give us a new scandal, because the human mind just wants novelty. We get bored. We’ll chew on it like a dog with a bone, but if you hand us a new bone, we’re going to go to that every time. It’s a distressingly effective tactic.

      Hmm, whatever happened to eliminating fraud and waste? Like not putting megabillions in massive military assets into a pointless fight against what is at worst a few dozen smugglers in speedboats and at best hapless fishermen? Particularly after DOGE gutted rehab programs and other projects that fought the drug war at the source which is actually financed mainly by American users?!

      I mean, body counts are SOOOO Vietnam War anyway. At least that’s an accurate reference for the modern incompetence I guess. This timeline sucks.

      You know hegseth has a tally somewhere. A whiteboard with a number he keeps adding up of people he is responsible for killing. I can imagine him cutting off ears and wearing them if he could.

      If these boats are still heading out and taking a chance with the US Navy, I’m assuming a lot of boats are still getting through and this is all murdering entertainment for the Hegseth Show knocking off a boat every few days.

      These headlines suck! You should be pointing out that the administration have never offered a single shred of proof for these attacks.

      And even if they did, they’d still be illegal.
