Ramsay’s comments come after Heston Blumenthal announced a „mindful“ experience at his Fat Duck restaurant that features reduced portion sizes. 

„That is absolute bullshit,“ Ramsay said. „There’s no f—— way we’re giving in to the Mounjaro jab … The problem is with them [the diners] for eating too much in the first f—— place!“

He added, „There’s no way that we’re coming in with an Ozempic tasting menu to make you feel like less of a fat f— by 10:30 in the evening.”

Ate in one of his restaurants a few years back and the portions were tiny anyway so can’t see any issue.

As colorful as his language is, i actually agree with him. Having to cater to vegetarians, vegans, pescatarians, and those who don’t eat pork or beef, or those that have certain food allergies etc is one thing. But expecting restaurant to cater to those taking Ozempic? That’s your personal responsibility to manage that, doesn’t fall on anyone else.

Speaking as someone who’s done a lot of weight loss regimens over the years…no one’s responsible for your diet but you. If you’re serious about losing weight, maybe leave the high-end dining for another time.
