The Epstein Shutdown on top of the Epstein Ballroom isn’t a good look for the Epstein Presidency.
My work wants me to travel across the country next week. This is the first time I have declined travel in my twenty years with the company. It very much can be done remotely, and even if it couldn’t it’s not worth the hassle right now.
Republikans already threw 15 million MAGA Knuckle-nobs off their healthcare with the Big, Billionaires Bill.
Now, Republikans have shut down the government so they can DOUBLE (yes, DOUBLE) insurance premiums for everyone on the ACA.
This is gonna do wonders for tourism-heavy economies all across the country.
If it gets to the point that Amazon’s two day delivery can no longer function because the planes can’t fly, and Bezos has to personally get on the phone with Trump, Republicans might have to yield to Democrats on this one.
Republicans really don’t want a functioning country do they?
The union for air traffic controllers should call a national strike until wages are paid. At the very least it should advise against air travel due to unsafe conditions.

On my red eye flight from Cali, that was delayed 6 hours due to the shutdown.
This is really gonna piss off the middle class planning to fly on the long Thanksgiving weekend.
Many people book flights 2 weeks in advance for better deals on airline tickets. If you have ever had to buy a last minute ticket with just a day or so notice, you understand the sticker shock.
Driving is an option only for pretty short distances if people need to be at work or school on Monday.
So, many who can afford to travel for Thanksgiving may not do so or airlines may need to offer some last minute deals.
Just ground all flights and we will be fine.
