Problem is you don’t own the land. It’s just a 99 year lease. I suspect it will very quickly be a depreciating assets. Most people will prefer freehold that appreciates in value.

I suspect since people wouldn’t own the land their rights are also very limited. Contractors probably don’t have lien rights and less of them want to work on those properties. Your probably have limitations on what you can do to “your”’property. Just the simple fact that they are way cheaper pretty much demonstrates thy are less desirable. What’s the old saying. Location location location.
