That is a really dumb thing to say. Like no doubt there’s more to Sharia than the honour killings The Sun reports on but Mamdani obviously isn’t gonna implement it.

      >Mr Ray wrote on X: „Some say Mamdani may implement Sharia Law. He might. __The heart of Sharia is social justice, welfare, fairness, charity and cohesion.__

      Ahahahahaha. Press X to doubt.

      >Most Muslim countries operate a hybrid of Sharia & civil law, are slowly reforming and abandoning unethical practices despite the west’s portrayal.“

Wonder what he means by “Unethical practices” – looking at muslim countries, the practices they consider unethical are things like homosexuality and women’s rights.

Far more offensive is the GB NEWS insert when you open the Evening Standard.

    4. The real outrage is that he gave credence to the 100% bullcrap idea that Mandami may even vaguely consider implementing Sharia law …

„It was a nightmare as hours earlier ITV revealed it was in talks to sell its broadcasting arm to Sky in a £1.6billion deal.“

Attempting a nuanced take on Islam just as Murdock’s mob is taking over your workplace has to be the worst timing ever.

As an atheist, I absolutely would welcome a change where people with religious affiliations are excluded from politics.

Surely that’s what Adil meant, right? Interference of religion into politics, right? /s

Jokes aside, I’d much quicker believe reform wanting to adopt parts of sharia law than mamdani. And I don’t even like the guy

    8. People are so ignorant around sharia law. It’s ridiculous. Educate yourself people.
