Every news story about these two swings wildly between two different extremes. I just want someone to explain why I should care.

This is why people shouldn’t excitedly jump on tabloid stories the way Reddit did last week. Very irresponsible. Hundreds of thousands of people were ready to ruin David Harbour’s life based on a sourceless Daily Mail story because it was somehow problematic to question its validity.
The original story about harassment came from the Daily Mail.
A great barometer for working out what is true is to assume the opposite of what the Daily Mail says!
