FYI the Poppys from The Royal British Legion Store on Amazon are genuine. All profits go to the Royal British Legion and delivery is free. I just dont think they do the paper ones. There are some fake ones out there tho.
Is it not reasonably straightforward to track the money here for police and banks? I guess nobody is buying with bitcoin so there must be a bank somewhere that can be used to catch these people?
Plenty of del boy types out there wanting to cash in on a cultural phenomenon. This has been going on for decades, In one notable case involving a politician who was supported by a front bench minister.
These problems won’t go away until we start having a public conversation in the commons about what we’re doing as a country exactly.
