TLDR:
* Alex Vesia and his wife Kayla are mourning the loss of their baby.
* The Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher, 29, and his wife shared a joint statement on Friday, Nov. 7, announcing that their daughter, Sterling Sol Vesia, was stillborn.
* „Our little angel,“ the couple began a joint statement on Instagram, alongside a photo of their hands placed on top of their daughter’s. „We love you forever & you’re with us always.“
That has to be one of the worst things that could ever happen to someone
Well that’s awful. I hope they are doing as best they can in a situation like this.
I’m so sorry for them, that’s such an incredibly difficult situation. So sad.
Stillbirth is speculation. It doesn’t say that in their caption.
Knew this was coming and it sucks all the same. So sorry for them, that’s heartbreaking
Heartbreaking news. Wishing them strength and peace during this unimaginable time.
We had a stillborn this year, It sucks. My wife said to me I don’t understand how much I can miss someone I never even met. I can accept death happens but now knowing what it is that killed him makes it so much more brutal cause you never know if it will happen again. We literally just had embryos implanted today, even if it works it’s going to be so much dread till the baby comes out alive.
Reminds me of nfl joe jurevicius and his wife losing their infant son in his season
This is so awful. I’ve experienced this and wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. It’s devastating.
It wasn’t a stillbirth. The Dodgers announced Alex Vesia was stepping away due to a family matter on October 23rd. Alex posted their baby went to heaven on October 26th.
I figured as much when they mentioned his wife and family medical issues. That’s so terrible. I hope they take as much time to grieve and heal.
This is why all the Jays‘ relievers had a 51 on their hats. Class acts.
I kinda figured that. Prayers to Alex and his wife
Dang. Man. what do you say?
How the fuck is this anyone’s business
Heartbreaking. Parents should never ever have to bury a child
