I formed Italy as the Papal States in Victoria 3, then got some colonies, was fun.
The Kingdom of Lombardy-Venetia was actually ruled by the Austrians, which isn’t represented at all by the map.
serious question, why is it called two sicilies? I know there is only one Sicilian island
My great, great grandfather came from the city of Genoa. In fact it was his middle name. And a recent DNA test I took confirms that part of me is from that region. I’ll have to go back and take a look at when he was born to see if he grew up in Italy or the Kingdom of Sardinia.
