    1. I as a Croat was in Split for first time in years this summer and in one afternoon i was there i passed near a school and there were groups of teenagers in black shirts, one unironically said „Hitlerjugend“ during a conversation with a person at a kiosk, and bit further away there were Andrew Tate graphitti on a wall

Lot of people want to simply ignore or downplay these trends, despite half a million attending a concert of a very flimsily hidden far right/ustaša apologist, although it is bit harder now with what recently happened in Split

Croatia is also obviously far from alone in this

when you’re racist but your country is homogenous so you have to get your dose of attention by targeting a minority of mostly old ppl lol

As a Croat I must say, unfortunately it’s only getting worse. Beautiful land with many moronic people. I’m moving to Austria soon, thank God.

Lmao, graffiti on a wall as an international news.

Meanwhile president of Serbia took part in ethnic cleansing of Croats, Croatian man getts killed by Serbs after returning to his home from which he was expelled,a Serbian war criminal has a [house in a Croatian vilagge in Serbi](https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.index.hr/amp/vijesti/clanak/foto-pogledajte-kako-izgleda-seseljeva-kuca-koju-je-protuzakonito-preuredio/2034974.aspx)a where he was commiting his war crimes, with a big sign saying „Serbian radical party“ etc.

Croatian people have had enough. Our money is being used to fund „days of Serbian culture“ in hundreds of thousand of euros, only days prior to [rememberence day of the victims of Vukovar](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vukovar_massacre), biggest Serbian war crime on Croats.

Croatia and Serbia signed agreement on minorities 20 years ago. Serbs in Croatia have everything, from guaranteed 3 seats in the parliament, hundreds of lower and higher ranking positions in the government and on local level, schools and right to use their language, massive financial support by the Croatian government and so on…

Croats in Serbia? None. Nothing Serbia signed was implemented.

At the same time Serbs in Croatia remain silent about war criminals among them and offer no information in finding the remains of ≈1000 people still missing from the war.

We have every right to be furious. It’s enough.

    5. West Slavs have Slovakia,
      East Slavs have Ukraine,
      South Slavs have Croatia.

I don’t think this tells you anything about the politics of Croatia I think it just tells you that teenagers are being edgy sometimes

Just today there was a discussion/post on r/hreddit about how Jasenovac concentration camps (yes a group of different camps) is overblown and how the child concentration camp didn’t actually kill children but was healing them. They mostly complained how the “genocide denial law” is stopping them from *correcting* the Fascist Croatia crimes, that well according to them didn’t happen…

    8. This picture is not from Split. It’s from Bjelovar, a year ago and this is serbian ortodox church.

    9. Croatia has arguably never been doing better economically, never been safer (at least in terms of inter-state relations in the region), yet right wing ideologies of all sorts havent been so popular since the war in the 90s
