Saruman is really pushing too far with his red orcs. Where is the white cavalry when we need them?
Maps ISW is unreliable, it’s better to use some other map deepstate(Ukraine mapper) or Suriyak.
Only 600 more years and Putlerist Russia should just about make it.
People should stop looking at the map so much. Unless some peace deal is gonna come about (doubtful) this war won’t be decided by territorial control but by destruction of the others army, you can’t see that on the map.
It is more interesting to look at the dynamics over two years.

In the start they where going for the north as well i think if they went for the north and took the capital it would have need better .

Note that the population of the much ballyhooed Pokrovsk was 60k in 2020 and 1500 this July. It’s only an interesting location in terms of where the trenches and fortifications happen to be.
